Gardline is a multi-disciplinary marine survey company based in Great Yarmouth.
Since its founding in 1969, the company has become one of the world’s largest marine survey providers, delivering a wide range of fully integrated services, including geophysical, geotechnical and environmental surveys.
Gardline commissioned CADS to deliver a range of surveying services for the purpose of providing updated property information for its offices and sites.
Our expert team worked with Gardline to understand their requirements and scope, developing a detailed brief to ensure they received the data they needed.
They required an audit of existing floor plans and site plans, as well as the addition of items within the new scope which were previously absent, such as external elevations and sections through.
Over five days, our survey team conducted a measured building, topographic, and utilities survey across four sites of differing ages, sizes and structures using Faro laser scanners.
Our team captured data of the buildings structure, services and fixed fittings and furniture.
We also produced full height external elevations, as well as long and short sections and site details, including level changes, surface finishes, pathways, drainage, trees and more.
Working alongside a subcontractor, we delivered a utilities survey for all four sites which recorded all traceable underground services.
Using the data captured, we spent two weeks creating the drawings which Gardline required, supplied in dwg/pdf format.
Our experienced team delivered plans, elevations, sections, topography and boundary data for all four sites.
We also provided a full set of digital photographs, covering all areas of the survey.
