We are celebrating this year's International Women's Day, Women in Tech by shining a light on some of the great women we have working at CADS. In the first of this 5 part series we are talking to Kanok Dennis from our Retail Planning Team.

Kanok Dennis, Retail Planner
Kanok joined CADS two weeks before the first COVID lock down, amidst all of the turmoil in the outside world. She quickly got to grips with the world of retail planning. With a degree in Interior Architectural Design, Kanok applied her knowledge and expertise. This helped our clients deal with the massive changes in store.
Translation support
Alongside retail planning, Kanok also supports our StoreSpace Customer Success team. She provides live Thai translations in demos and discovery sessions.
Kanok was born and raised in Thailand, moving to the UK 5 years ago to be with her partner. Outside of the office Kanok enjoys cooking authentic Thai and Japenese foods. Also expressing her artistic nature with sketch drawing and photography.
How does CADS support your training and career choice?
CADS has been a great help providing all the training to improve my career path especially the skills that are involved in my role.
What advice would you give to women in tech?
I believe that if you want to do something, just go for it, and give it a try before saying no. Be confident in what you do and never stop learning.

CADS' CareersWhy did you choose to work in the retail technology industry?
I didn’t know this role existed before I joined CADS, when I saw the job advertised I thought this would be something that I could do so it a gave it a try and I’ve been enjoying it since then.
What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
It’s a day that celebrate women’s equality and it’s a reminder that women in tech can do or be anything they want within their own right.
