Aaron Wright, (Managing Director at CADS) has been very supportive of my drive to specialise in Human Resources. He has been instrumental in carving out and defining my role at CADS.
I have regular one to ones and mentoring which is invaluable to my professional development. I always appreciate feedback, whether good or bad, as it helps me improve and develop my professionalism.
For me, the tech industry is routed in innovation and provides clever and forward-thinking solutions for our clients, which excites me.
I very much believe in the equality of opportunity, rather than outcome. I believe anyone with talent, desire, and passion for tech should have the opportunity to work in the industry. Gender should never be a barrier. Diversity of professional and life experience can be a great benefit for any industry. Our recruitment practices provide an inclusive environment for this.
We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative environment where you can flourish. Discover more about careers at CADS.
CADS' CareersMy advice would be the same, regardless of sex. Work hard, be professional, kind, and a team player.
Realistically, there is always the usual pressures of the responsibilities that family life can bring, with motherhood and working being a tricky balancing act. More often than not, women shoulder the responsibility of raising children.
It is important to me that we, as an employer, provide flexible working and equal opportunities to all, and eliminate any professional barriers for parents and those with caring responsibilities.
IWD 2025 is a chance to celebrate extraordinary women who have accomplished amazing things, such as Emmeline Pankhurst, a British suffragette who helped women gain the right to vote in the UK.
