Store planningEd Smith joins our Leeds office as Format Development Manager. He will be enhancing our retail consultancy service for both our retail planning teams and StoreSpace® delivery. Ed brings with him over 15 years’ experience at Asda where he was responsible for managing the store planning for a host of refresh and new store projects.
With significant experience in using StoreSpace® at Asda, Ed is a keen advocate of the software. This will enable him to advise new retail clients during deployment on best practice principles. Ed will also be helping to identify opportunities for improving efficiencies and store profitability heatmaps and model store functionality.
Louis Turrell (pictured below with Senior Surveyor Jamie McColl) joins our Great Yarmouth office as a Trainee Geospatial Surveyor and has experience in the oil and gas industry, as well as a junior BIM coordinator. Prior to this studied for a HNC in General Engineering.
Calum Preshous and Jack Creegan are both joining our Leeds office as Trainee Geospatial Surveyors. Calum has a BA in Geography from the University of Leeds which covered many aspects relating to the various geomatics disciplines. While Jack, who has a degree in Human Geography & Town Planning from Leeds Beckett University, has spent the past two years working as a Land Referencer on the HS2 Phase 2B project.
Our three new trainee surveyors will receive on-the-job training in all aspects of geospatial surveying including measured building surveying, traversing, laser scanning and the associated array of 2D & 3D deliverables.

Lynsey joins our Wolverhampton office as a retail planner with an Interiors Architecture degree. With experience working in store at the Card Factory and Thorntons, Lynsey is looking forward to seeing retail from a different angle.
Paul Rutland is relocating from High Wycombe to join the Great Yarmouth retail planning team. Paul has extensive experience using AutoCAD as a space planner and draughtsman. He is looking forward to joining the team.
And Chloe McCarthy is joining our Leeds office. Chloe has eight years of interior design experience as a Designer to apply to her new role of retail planner. Chloe has a degree in Fashion and Interior Design.
